Have you ever looked at a beautiful hotel at night and wondered why it looks so magical? It’s not just the building; it’s the professional landscape lighting.
At Living Acre, we don’t just build pools and gardens. We use innovative hardscaping and softscaping techniques to make your outdoor space come to life after the sun goes down. In Dubai, the nights are the best time to be outside, but only if you have the right luminous ambiance.
Imagine you have a beautiful new swimming pool or a custom-designed pergola. Without a strategic lighting plan, your investment just looks like a dark shadow at night.
Good lighting does three big jobs:
Dubai is very hot, and the air near the beach has salt in it. This can ruin cheap lights!
We don’t just put one big bright light in the middle. That looks like a parking lot! Instead, we use layers:
We hide a small, strong light at the bottom of your Palm or Ghaf tree. We point a skinny beam of light straight up the trunk. It makes the tree look giant and magnificent.
Using submersible LED pool lights, we make your Living Acre pool glow from within. This creates a shimmering effect that reflects off your hardscape surfaces, making the entire garden feel serene.
Instead of big lamps, we hide tiny lights along your walkway. It looks like little stars guiding you to your front door.
In 2026, you shouldn’t have to walk around flipping switches. With our Smart Systems, you can:
The coolest part about working with Living Acre is our 3D Landscape Visualization. Before we even touch your garden, we show you a movie of what it will look like at night.
You can “walk” through your 3D garden and see exactly where the shadows and lights will be. If you want a tree to be brighter, we change it on the computer first!
The best material for outdoor lighting in the Dubai climate is solid brass or copper with a marine-grade finish. Unlike powder-coated aluminum, which peels and corrodes in 50°C heat and high salinity, brass and copper are living metals that resist rust and naturally patina over time, ensuring a lifespan of 10–15 years in desert environments.
For residential landscaping, an IP65 rating is the minimum for general garden fixtures to protect against dust and rain. However, for lights located near swimming pools or water features, an IP67 or IP68 rating is required. IP68 fixtures are fully submersible and pressurized, preventing water ingress and electrical failure during pool cleaning or heavy irrigation.
To light a palm tree professionally, use two 15-degree narrow-beam LED uplights placed at the base of the trunk. Point the beams upward to highlight the texture of the bark and the underside of the fronds. For taller trees (over 5 meters), use 10W–15W fixtures to ensure the light reaches the canopy without “spilling” light into the night sky or neighboring properties.
Actually, no! Because we use Advanced LED Technology, our systems use about 80% less energy than old-fashioned bulbs. You can light up your entire mansion’s landscape for the same cost as running one small kitchen appliance.
Don’t let your beautiful landscape disappear when the sun goes down. Let the experts at Living Acre show you how professional Light Magic can redefine your outdoor lifestyle.
